Heater problem
1999 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

The only setting that works for the fan is HIGH. Normally, once the temperature setting has been met, the fan will kick back and I can operate it at variable speeds. I'm guessing there is some sort of internal thermosatat that controls this. Is this something I can fix myself? Thanks.

Sir-I viewed the HVAC electrical circuitry and came about the problem that could be causing it- The Electronic Automatic Control Temperature Module or the Blower Motor Speed Controller. It is not a job for you -its best if you bring it in to the pros-

If you wish to view the electrical diagram/schematics give me your email addy.
