Electrical problem
1999 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

How many mA should be drawing with engine off?mine was drawing 700mA,found radio circuit (fuse 29)was drawing 450mA,fix problem, but still drawing 240 mA aprox.,fuse 26 circuit is drawing 160mA.I have 1996 ford explorer wiring diagrams and I can see fuse 26 circuit should be hot in run but it is hot at all times,I think 1996 wiring diag. are the same for 1999,is this correct?

PARASITIC DRAW TEST Connect ammeter to battery negative cable according to tool manufacturer's instructions. With all accessories off, doors closed and key out of ignition, current drain should be less than 50 milliamps. To locate the cause of current drains greater than 50 milliamps, remove fuses one at a time until current draw is within specification. Repair appropriate circuit, and check system operation.
