I have a 99 Explorer Sport with 163,000 + miles on it. When I drive it around it makes a backfire type sound and I can feel the entire SUV shake. I do not have a check engine light. I thought I had bad gas so I added octane booster---did not fix it. Took it to the shop, no codes, trans. ok, rear end ok, we are wondering. Any advice?? Thanks
