1998 Ford Explorer information

Heater problem
1998 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 189k miles

What does the blower motor look like? You said it was on the left side of engine compartment. Near the power distribution box. Can you explain more to me. To just help me locate it under the hood. Thank you.

Blower motor? For the heat and a/c? Thats on the passenger side, an is part way inside the heater plenum. you may need to remove the washer fluid tank to remove it. You should see the back side of it which is a black cylindrical shape.
