Hi,
I just had new tires, an alignment and new rotors installed on my Explorer. I hadn't driven the vehicle more that 5 miles and after crossing railroad tracks at 40 mph the vehicle and steering column started to shake uncontrollably (it had never done this before). I actually had to come to a halt to stop the shaking. The shaking was gone once I started driving again. I've been able to replicate the problem at slower speeds - again, crossing railroad tracks. The vehicle is now back at the service center but I'd like to find out if anyone has had similar problems or has any ideas to compare with my service tech's findings.
Thanks,
Paul
