Ford Explorer Engine Problem
Engine Performance problem
1998 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 78000 miles
The first time the auto is started, the engine revs to 3500 rpms for a few seconds, and then returns to 600 rpm, then it will rev again to 3500 rpm and then return. After the car is driven for 5 minutes or so, the engine idles fine. This issue only happens in the morning with the first start. The auto will start and idle fine with any use later in the day. How do I solve this problem?
