1996 Ford Explorer popping and slamming
My 96 Explorer AWD has been wonderful, but over time it has developed a popping and thumping on takeoff or when accellerating from low speed. It sounds as if its coming from two places under the front. Also, when turning sharply at low speed, it pops and shudders like CRAZY. Any ideas?
