1995 Ford Explorer Some electrical components don't work

Although we have already checked the small fuses in the interior panel, none are out that correspond with the fact that the following no longer operate:

1. Windshield wipers
2. Automatic windows
3. Interior overhead lights
4. Mirror adjustments for exterior mirrors

Any suggestions? Should we disconnect battery and check the larger fuse-looking things under the hood? Help! and Thank you.
