Transmission problem
1995 Ford Explorer 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
At first my OD light was constantly flashing and when you take off in the truck you can push the gas to go but you would have to let up on the gas alittle for it to shift and then it would drive fine,until you had to stop again! Also my gear letters were way off set (when it is in park it looked like it was in Reverse).
Someone mentioned maybe we needed to change the filter and fluid,so my husband did. We were told that he would have to adjust the linkage. So he did!! Now there are no gears at all, you go to pull the gear stick down and it falls all the way to the 2nd gear!!!
do you have any ideas on what he might had done wrong? Help!!!
