1994 Ford Explorer Knocking sound

When I turn on the car it knocks after about 15 sec then it knocks when I drive it. The oil gauge is in the normal range but low by the n in normal.

Usually a rap in the engine block area means a bad connecting rod bearing and crank journal. Or a bad wrist pin. Either way it would require a tear down or engine replacement to fix, my advice, drive as is.
