Mech states: 1 hr labor/$200 to replace thermostat. Is it an easy repair? Can I do it at home?

Thx, Scott

Be sure to install the thermostat with the little air release valve in the 12:00 (up) position. And the spring end should be in the engine. Try not to buy a Ford or Stant product. I would suggest going to Napa and buy their better more expensive product. I'm not sure who makes it, but I have replaced numerous Stants and the Motorcraft doesn't seem to last either.
