1992 Ford Explorer front brake smokes

I had just replaced my front brake pads and the left front is smoking why?

Hi there,

did you make sure that the caliper slid pins were free? Is the wheel dragging on the brakes? Jack up and spin to see if it is dragging, are you using good quality pads as cheap pads will smoke a lot when bedding in. Check these things first.
