2001 Ford Expedition Repair Question

Ford, expidition 2001,84,000mi. ?
My sons trany will not shift out of park, there are no trouble lights on nor were there any unusual sound etc. prior to this occurance. Any thoughts as to what might be wrong?

Couple of things need to be checked by you, Have brake lights? Test Fuse 13 is the resistance of the fuse 5 ohms or less? Need this info to further diagnose, and then there will be more test!
