AIR CONDITIONER BLOWER MOTOR NOT BLOWING SMOOTHLY
My 2003 Ford Expedition EB has 76,000 miles and is the 5.4L V-8. The air coming out of the vents in the FRONT A/C is not a smooth consistent flow. It seems that the blower motor speeds up then slows down, speeds up then slows down. It does blow cold, however. Even though I just had the compressor replaced as well as the REAR air actuator and speed swith, I think I was having this problem shortly before these repairs. I feel like my battery is getting weak also. Could this have any effect? Anyone have any ideas? By the way, the unit is the auto temp type. You set the temp you want and the unit does the rest. You can also take it out of auto mode and set the blower speed and temp manually. The problem occurs in either mode.
