Electrical problem
1997 Ford Expedition V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles
wipers come on intermittantly even with wiper switch in off position---where is the relay/controller for the wipers located? somewhere in the dashboard?
I have dismantled one of these dashes before to replace a heater core but I don't know which relay is the one I need to replace

Hello !!
The wipers High/low relay its located on left side of engine compartment in power distribution box.

Hello Again..
If the relay its good I would check the GEM (generic Electronic Module) because all of the wipers functions are controlled by that.
The GEM is located behind center of instrument panel.
