Dripping water from under dashboard

My 98 Ford Escort had A/C work fixed in April 06, was advised heater core may be bad but was took expensive to fix at that time. A/C works fine but now have water dripping from under dashboard on passenger side and squealing noise as well. After reading some of the other questions; wondering if this is heater core, clogged hose or what?
Please help!!! Thanks

Seems like water, doesn't feel or smell like coolant.

Leaks when A/C is on; also when just fan is on.

thanks

It's possible whoever worked on your a\c may have left a drain line unhooked or misrouted it, if they did work in the passenger cabin, there are lines to drain the water from the evap core out of the car, or the line could be clogged up..
