Hi thanks for looking at my q. First my car would not go into drive from park so figure soleniod so quick fix popped the top off on the automatic shifter stuck something in to get in to unlock, starts fine ran fine. Was out stopsed the car would not start, gah, so had it towed home. Can I just replace the solenoid and will it work again or has it wrecked something else now since I didn't replace it right away? It just clicks when I turn it on and all else lights up. If I can where is the solenoid I have an idea and have seen videos, but looks alot different looks like its all attached to the starter motor or am I looking at something different? If it is attached do I take it all off to replace it? Appreciate it alot thanks!

If its not coming out of park
then you need to check the brake light switch
check if you have brake light when stepped on the brake s

as for the starter need to check if its all the way in park or it will not start
try and move the shifter as you holding the brakes and try to start
