hi my names Korey Wykoff and my escort is so low on freon that the clutch isn't kicking on to suck in new freon and i heard theres a switch you can press that will make the compressor kick on and it'll take the freon but i have no idea where it would be or where to even start looking

Under your power steering pump, find the A/C receiver drier, on it will be an electrical connector, unplug that and jump the leads with wire. this will start the compressor, DO NO run car like this or damage WILL occur! And it's the cycling switch... If your system is so empty the compressor wont run, I strongly suggest you take it to a qualified A/C technician.
