1998 Ford Escort Sediment in Coolant

Engine Cooling problem
1998 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 82000 miles

I just had the freeze plugs, radiator, thermostat, water pump, and timing belt replaced after having several problems over the past year with sediment in the coolant. It's only been about 6 weeks and the check coolant light is on and there is sediment in the coolant again, but the car is running OK and has not overheated yet. I don't want to waste any more money on it if it can't be completely fixed. What else could be wrong?
