I have a 1998 ford escort zx2 2.0 dohc with 85k miles and I changed the coolant about 9 months ago. After driving on the highway for about 15 minutes my tempature gaudge creeps up from its normal running tempature, but never gets to the red. Just stops about 3/4ths of the way there. I do not see any leaks and everything seems to be running find. Thanks

You should replace the thermostat. If you did that you likley replaced it with a high temperature thermostat. When hot, does the car run like its overheating? IE loss of power, poor acceleration, missing. If not, the former is probably the culprit. Make sure you get the Ford recommended temperature thermostat. Also, is the radiator clogged? Those should give you some ideas.
