My car has been making a clicking noise for about a week. Today I started and it miss fired. Turned it off started again no problem. It does it, off and on. I checked the check engine code. P0304 number 4 cylinder miss fire. I change the fuel filter, spark plugs, and wires wires. Did a compression test. checked the lifters, and tested for vac leaks, and clean all components to do with air. I'm kinda leaning twards a bag injector. Any thoughts?

Sparkplug and compression for that cyl okay-You could be on the right track with the injector

Engine Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel
