Working on family members 97 Ford Escort, car drove for 1 month when given to them, then would not start. States that they can pop the clutch and get the car started, but don't dare stop as engine will stall out. Had a simliar issue on an old Saturn of mine, turned out to be the Camshaft sensor was bad. Car being delivered to my house today, creating a checklist of things to inspect since 2 mechanics have told them they can't figure it out. Going to check camshaft sensor, idle speed motor, idle air control valve, timing belt/chain....any suggestions greatly appreciated!
