1996 Ford Escort reduction in power
driving along at any speed and the engine will hold back on the power almost as if the air way has been blocked

you could have either, restricted exhaUST SYSTEM OR LOW FUEL PRESSURE FROM plugged fuel filter. does the check engine light come on and if it does have the car scanned for trouble codes and get back to us.
