1995 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

car starts when clutch is to the floor but the stick won't move into gear and when I try to force it into gear the car starts rolling, also when the car is turned off I can move the stick into all the gear positions but if I try to start it in first gear with the clutch to the floor the car tries to move, what can I do to fix this? Many thanks in advance.

Sounds llike you need a new clutch assembly

Filled the empty master cylinder resivoir with dot three brake fluid, then pumped the clutch pedal for five minutes, brake fluid cost me $3.28 car works fine now.
