1991 Ford Escort clutch master cylinder
how do you bleed the clutch master cylinder? I have put in three brand new ones and none of them will bleed. I changed the slave cylinder also. I have been told all kinds of rediculous metholds. I even done it by the book and no luck.

It is a good idea to bench bleed the master cyl first, but as it is fitted, do it this way. Press pedal down and hold down while pipe fitting at M/Cyl is cracked open. when fluid or air is expelled do up nut before lifting pedal, do this 5-6 times, keep reservoir 1/4 full at least, when master is bleed do same at slave, pedal down, open bleeder, close bleeder, pedal up, do this until no air is present, this is the correct way to bleed.
