2001 Ford Escape noises underneath body
Noises problem
2001 Ford Escape 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 90000 miles
My car started making lots of noises, mostly creaking and some groaning, from underneath. I have had the front struts replaced and the rear shocks. The front noises have pretty much stopped, but there are still noises from the rear section, usually when I'm going over uneven pavement. Highway driving and smooth roads don't cause any noises. What other things should I consider? General lub job? Tie rods? These are not noises from the cargo area, and I checked the spare tire well to make sure that all parts there were tight. Thanks in advance for any help.
