Belt noise. Already changed belt and tensioner.
Mechanic also rerouted belt around a/c comp. So now I don't have a/c but I do still have a squeel. What else could it be? Don't want to go back to same mechanic was there 3 times for this noise already he clearly doesn't know what it is.

Hi:
Is the noise present all of the time or only at start up. Also, could the pulleys be glazed? Why did he bypass the AC compressor? How did he measure for the new belt size? Could he have gotten one that is slightly too long? Also, by bypassing the AC, it limits the efficiency or the defroster which based on where you live may be a problem.
