Abs
Brakes problem
1998 Ford E-Series Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 127,00 miles
Hello,
Not sure what is wrong, in the winter My abs kick on at bad time<g> that is to say if I'm driving and hit the brakes some time the ABS kicks on and the van will not stop, If I let off and reapply they work normal some times, but mostly the abs kick back in and it will not stop, , this only happens in the snow, the work just fine in the rain. I could be going only 5mph and hit the brake pedal softly, full ABS and the van will go straight into the intersection, but if it hits a dry patch it stops right know. does this sound like a bad sensor on the wheels or the ABs brain. OR could it be a sticking caliper.
