I need to replace the radiator on my 1996 Ford Bronco 302ci. I have never done this. Is this an easy repair? Also, is there anything that I need to be aware of when doing this repair?

Thanks for the help. What a great forum.

I just replaced the radiator in my 90 bronco and it is a pretty straight foreward process, nothing special, just make sure you tighten all the transmission fittings on the radiator otherwise oil blows everywhere, very messy.

Very simple process. I also just replaced my radiator in my 92 Bronco. All you have to do is first on the bottom of the radiator is a drain plug. Unscrew it and let all the coolant drain out of the radiator, then disconnect both the upper and lower radiator hoses. Then depending if your model has them or not disconnect the transmission cooler lines and the oil cooler lines. Then just unbolt the radiator from the core support and pull it out. Installation is the exact opposite. Good Luck! Let us know if you have any more questions.
