My truck has a problem with the belt coming off 2 ribs towards the engine on the power steering pump. This is random times. Most of the time in the morning. I catch it and put it back on then it lasts a day or 2, or maybe not. Sometimes the belt rips. Ive been through 4.
I have changed the fan clutch, 2-idler tensioner with pulley. Belt is tight. All seems straight and no wobles, all 6 groves. The power steering pump click sometimes when I spin it w/out the belt. The alternator has a little wobble but the autoparts store said this is not enough to throw the belt. The water pump has corrosion but does not overheat and spins freely. 2 shops cannot see anything. Any ideas?

Take a straightedge and check all the pulley and make all of their faces are equal. With belt on and running look to see whats happening. Have some one rev up and down see if it will cause it to move.
