1987 Ford Bronco will not start with key

i have just bought this bronco and it will not start with the key, if you turn the key on and jump the cilanoid it will crank and i have started it that way, i have put in new key cylinder and switch on the coloumn please help me. thank you dj scott[/quote:71ff9e04e0]

check if your getting battery volts at the small switch wire at solenoid if you do solenoid no good
if not check the neutral safety switch on tranny or the wires leading to it
