1995 Ford Aspire somtimes the transmission wont go in reves

1995 Ford Aspire 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles
somtime the transmission wont go in reveseve and somtime it will. the shifter moves to revese but dont move. is there a fixs for this or is the transmission giving up it works just fine in forward. please help thank you.
