1995 Ford Aerostar Shifting
1995 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 180,00 miles
I was driving and went to park but would not shift from Drive to Park. I have no reverse. Stopped in Neutral. I have no idea where to start. Tried many times and it just won't shift from neutral to park. Any Ideas!!!!

Sounds like ya broke a shift cable. get yoself under that low hanging vehicle and ya will find a black cable about the size of your pinky that runs frum above to the drivers side of the transmission pan secured by the pan bolts. Have a friend if your lucky enough to have one to move the shifter left and right and look for a full range of movent(about 2 1/2 inches at the con necting lever on the trans.
