Engine Performance problem
1994 Ford Aerostar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 167952 miles
Vans cranks with no problem, but when you put in gear, it cuts off. I can put it in neutral and crank and after several tries of flooring the gas it may take off and runs fine till I come to a stop and then I have to start the process all over again. Once it goes, it runs smoothly. Have replace Air Control Valve, but it didn't solve the problem. Need help ASAP. I have 10 kids and this is our only transportation.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks?
