While driving yesterday, my temp gauge shot up to its limit so I pulled over. Lots of white coolant smoke came from the engine compartment underneath the hood from what looked like from the engine block almost under my alternator. There was absolutely no coolant left in either my reservoir or my actual radiator. Everything was gone. The coolant that was in there seemed to have spewed among various lower parts of my engine and down to the frame of my truck too. I could not find a source of the leak because everything was covered in coolant. Please help I need to drive home from college this weekend and need my truck.

You know we can't see it over a computer, but to leak that badly is almost always caused by nothing more than a ruptured rubber hose. Try pouring some water into the radiator, then watch where it runs out.
