I recently purchased a used 2006 Hyundai Tucson. Initially, we had no problems. However, it seems that when I use the key-less entry/lock the car completely loses all electrical function. It won't even turn over when I put the key in the ignition. No lights, no radio, no electric whatsoever. After a few minutes of opening and closing the doors, and doing anything else I can to get working. (None of this works the power just seems to randomly return) Anyways, so I stopped locking the vehicle which seemed to help until this evening. I parked on a hill and put the e-brake on and the same issues happened and the car wouldn't work for about five minutes. Any insight into this matter would be greatly appreciated.

This is a common problem with a lot of cars and is usually caused by a loose nut where the smaller battery positive wire bolts to the under-hood fuse box. Also check where the smaller negative battery wire bolts to the body, and if there's a large fuse that is bolted in. Turn on the head lights, then tighten those nuts. If you see some tiny sparks and the lights turn on, you'll know you just tightened the loose connection. Be careful when you have a wrench or socket on the positive wire that the tool doesn't touch any metal part of the car at the same time. That will cause huge dangerous sparks.
