Eagle Summit Clutch Problem
Transmission problem
1994 Eagle Summit 4 cyl Automatic
the car was running fine, was running errand and stop at light when the car stalled out. started backup with no problem, but when put car in drive it wont move. will not move in any gear.

Does engine rev up like in neutral?

No I mean when gas pedal is depressed does engine rev up while in gear

When you press gas it sounds like it wants to go, but the car does not move, so yes it rev up

Check fluid level and color. If dark brown to black and has burnt smell then clutches it direct clutch pack smoked. Car is in need of trans overhaul or replacement
