5.9l need to know iginition point gap

Hi:
Are you refering to points for the ignition system? If so, they stopped using them around 1970. Now they use an electronic ignition. If it is something else, let me know.

that year takes a air gap for the pickups inside the distributor. If you have points in your van some one put a really old distributor in place of whats suppose to be there. you might want to check the year code on the motor if its a pre-70's you will need to look for the year of the motor to find the point gap.and set up everything to run right
