I have a 318 that has been rebuit. It has an edlebrock performer series 4barrel intake and carburetor. It has a new stock fuel punp. the motor will start but not run and idle. After starting the motor several times then it will not start. Sometimes by patting the gas pedal I have been able to keep the motor running. The idle mixture screws seem to be properly set and I am not sure about any vacuum leak. There is none that seems to be obvious. What do you think my problem is? what direction should I go? What steps should I take?
