95 Dodge Stratus 2.4L--No Spark.

My beautiful 95 Dodge Stratus 2.4L, 140,000 or so miles has no spark and no power to the coil, as I am told. I had a 250 mile journey about a month ago. I had filled up my gas tank to take the journey back and went about 18 miles and my car just died, started again, stalled again right after each other. Put some Heet in the gas tank couple days later and ran fine until yesterday. Same senerio happened except I got to go 24 miles instead of 18. Can someone please help me to figure this one out? PLEASE I have a child 250 miles away and one that relies on me and our vehicle.

This sounds like a problem with ether the fuel pump or the fuel pressure regulator. If you can have the fuel pressure checked. If the pressure is not high enuf the computer tells the coil not to spark.
