2000 Dodge Stratus Grinding While Turning
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2000 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 115000 miles
I get a pronounced grinding noise while turning left only. Doesn't matter if accelerating or coasting. Brakes are new- I am thinking either wheel bearing or CV joint as tie rod ends and ball joints are fine on drivers side, but need to be replaced on pass side. There is no noise once the wheel is returned to center or under braking. Your thoughts please?

CV joint, or strut. most likely CV. it will continue to get worse as time goes by. have it checked at a front end place, alignment, etc. this is a classic example of a CV going bad..the bearings are bad in it or possibly you damaged the boot and are drying up your grease.
