Noises problem
1993 Dodge Stealth 6 cyl 265000 miles

i have a 93' dodge stealth with a Mitsubishi 3000 motor in it it makes a loud tapping noise and the speed of the noise increases when I step on the accelerator. What could the noise be?

Clank or tick. And does engine load affect it?

Metallic clanking or a loud tick like bouncing a pen on a table

Its a loud ticking noise and the car load has no effect
