Having a difficult time getting the brakee drums off of the rear axel. They start to slide off, but then hang up. Can you outlinee the changing process for rear drums on a single whell rear axel?
Thanks

My bad. It's the rotors that don't want to come off. The parking brake fits inside the rotor like a drum set-up, and it seems that the parking brake is what is preventing the rotor from coming off the axel. It is a 2500 and I believe USA produced. Caliper is off but can't get the rotor off to change it.

We loosened the parking brake adjuster and the rotor starts to slide off but then hangs up and stops. It almost seems like the parking brake is stuck in a groove inside the rotor. ANything else we need to do to get the parking brake to release?
