hello, I have a 93 dodge shadow ES 3.0 with 145,000 miles. I was driving home one day and my brakes suddenly failed. I managed to get it home but later when i tried to start it, it wouldnt start. It just cranks with no start. The car has a history of hesitation and "carbon buildup"(as im told), so I was thinking that the fuel pump may be to blame here, but i am not sure. I am confused by the brakes and i dont know if that can really be related to the fuel pump in any way. I was not having any problems previously with the brakes, but I have pretty much always had problems with hesitation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am thinking you have a either a bad brake booster or a loose vacuum line off the booster, Also does youre car shut off when u push the brakes?. Might want to pop off the tires to inspect the brakes for wear, Also inspect the rear brake cyl's for fluid leaks, Also wouldn't hurt getting, Fuel presure test done on the pump.
