1994 Dodge Shadow 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 140000 miles
How do I change a catalystic converter? my car didn't pass the smog test, and the print out said it is the catalystic converter, and tell me please if besides the catalystic should I change something else in my car like the fuel filter etc. Please help. Thanks

The catalytic converter is part of the exhaust system and requires welding experience and equipment to replace. Your vehicle may have a faulty oxygen sensor(s) that will also cause the smog to show up as faulty catalytic converter. They are also found on the exhaust system, but they just unscrew from exhaust and disconnect electrical connector to replace.
