1990 Dodge Shadow smell

When I have the heat on and stop at a light, my car fills up with a "burning oil" kind of smell. If I turn the heater off, the smell almost goes away. It is very strong and overpowering if you sit at a long light with the heater turnrd on. When I bought thre car I was told it had a "NEW" engine about 60,000 km ago. It was installed professionaly by a Chrysler dealer.
This is actually the second 1990 Shadow I have owned. The other car did the same thing. I thought it was because the other engine was covered in oil from leaks. This new Shadow does not have any visible leaks. The engine is pretty clean, it just smells though the heater some how. Please help my world smell better.
