I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 360 V8 w/70,000 miles....When it sits for several hours at a time or overnight, once i start it and press the pedal down it has a "delay" and rpm drop like the engine is about to quit. This all occurs within the timeline of a second, once it picks back up, all is well until it sits for a while again. The engine has only stalled out or shut off twice when this problem happened. Also i dont know if this is a related problem but once im at cruising speed (around 55 mph) the rpm bounces up a few clicks on the tachometer? I have not cleaned the fuel screen in the fuel tank, however i run injector cleaner through it every oil change, I was thinking of useing SeaFoam to clean the injectors out? Thanks for the help!
