Dodge truck

When coming to a stop the truck will not idle. It runs find, good power, gas mileage has not been hurt. It only does this when it is cool outside. It seems that if the temp. is below 55 or 60. If above this temp it does not do it. When it dies it will restart eaisly.
It is a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 318 (5.2) 136,000 miles

iac valve (idle air control valve) sounds like it, check it first
