Seem to not be getting fuel, my guess. Doesnt matter if im driving or idle step acc ped down and it just bogs. Happened yesterday while driving seems as if it wasnt shifiting right get higher rpms than before thought mabey trans. Then started loosing power was glad to make it home. Was going to look for fuel filter today if it has one. Pulled fuel system relay started her up does exact same thing but much worse. Havnt changed air cleaner in long time. Seems to idle ok. When it started to happen it came on slowy press peddel to floor no power just went slower happened in about 50 miles time. Never did die. Just went out and started rig started ok pushed pedel down untill it died semelled gas wont start again. The sound of the bog sounds like a 4barrel carb kicking in all four, (older chevy type) but bogs down. Gave it 15mins turned on key heard fuel pump but wont start, really smell gas now. Is this thing flooding it self?

Its Monday had to take day off to fix truck, get her fixed. Started ok this mornin rough idle though, still wouldnt move under her own power, but was enough to have power steering & brakes while wife towed me into shop w/ her 96 jeep limted edition. Shop called said that It was catalyic converter, cost $340.00 parts & labor was told that if I had took it to Dodge dealer I couldnt even get the cat con for that price. Hope this helps anybody with sim problem. Thanx Eric.

If you smell fuel then it probably isnt getting burned. Check engine light on? If it slowly lost power then you need to put a manual fuel pressure gauge on it, just to be sure of correct pressure. Also verify good spark while cranking
