Electrical problem
2005 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 165 km miles

when the engine is running the wiper delay do what they want. They go one once then they won't work. Only the delay. The low and high work fine. With the engine off and the key in the on position they work pefect in the delay and low and high. Whats the cause of this problem? Thanks

Computer needs to see park sense signal sent by the wiper motor. May be a bad motor internally.

Also I have read of ground issues. One is the ground connection next to the drivers side hood hinge. Also a ground issue at BCM pin#6 and pin#8.

BCM- Body Control Module

In essence it is a computer that is like the pcm, but contols non- engine performance things. Like wipers, lighting, locks etc.

Mitchell does not provide a location. Alldata may. But I do not have access until Monday.
